Not quite. Wilshere is now back in the team and doing well but not so long ago he was out of favour and on loan at Bournemouth. Fellani isn't exactly the crowd's favourite up at Old Trafford.

Re: Kouyate
Dacoure would be a great signing, agreed. As would choupo-moting, mooy and definitely gros from brighton. There are midfielders out there, we just need to stop pretending players who play in the elite competitions, like wilshire or fellani, would ever consider come here.

"Cannot pass, cannot shoot, no brain."

But one of our best performers in the last two home games. Would you agree ?

Doucorre for Watford would be a significant upgrade on Kouyate

Re: Kouyate
When playing decent he is the closest thing we have to an defensive midfielder.

We need one (or more) of those.

Not surprising we play well when he does.

"if he was sold tomorrow I doubt anyone would care?"

You're in the minority with that one. It takes players with all types of abilities to make a team so most, including the manager, agree he is well worth his place in the team. Agree though that his performances have to be up to yesterday's and not what's gone before.

Mario is clearly more talented (early signs are good) but would anyone say he played better/was more effective than Kouyate yesterday.

Re: Kouyate
There will never be a great deal of finesse in his game, but he's showing signs of getting back to his best. I can't help wondering if Sakho was a bad influence on him.

Re: Kouyate
Was sceptical massively when he signed as I thought he was a snide replacement for Reid when it was touted (mainly by our lying board) that he’d be snapped up by the top six. Given his history in Belgium as a CB.

Then he arrived and was ok for a bit then Bilic turned him into a monster, albeit a limited monster, during THAT last season at our spiritual home.

Since then at our neutral venue he’s been a shadow of himself in midfield.

In a good team as one of a 3 at the back he’ll be immense, probably the same in midfield in any good side but he’s looks lost lately.

I like him as a player, but he’s been off for a while now.

Re: Kouyate
Never ever rated him... his not my idea of a centre midfielder... but... it's not his fault and more often than not he'll give his all.. I like my centre midfielders to be footballers rather than people who run around a lot''

Yea, completely my view too, Sold0. While I do appreciate some of Kouyate's quality's, if he was sold tomorrow I doubt anyone would care?

Let's just say he is inconsistent. .I think that is a fair analogy.

Could sum up our history in one player.

Still got your obsession with Kouyate it seems Eerie?
You aren’t Tony Henry in disguise are you with your hatred of our great African midfielder?

Admit it, you’ll feel an awful lot better, he played very well again today.

Here she comes the old ‘queen’ Eerie
Wondered how long it would be before he piped up.

Get a grip mate and actually admit he played well. Mind you that’s hard for you when you’ve only got 10 mins of highlights to base your opinion on because I doubt very much you were at the game.

Fucking joke of a player.

It's easy to tell a pathetically overrated player, when his name is even mentioned for MOTM.

FUCK. ME.

Willtell 12:06 Sun Feb 11
Re: Kouyate
He had a good first half and stopped running so much 2nd half. Can we have more like the first half please?

Mind you none of the midfield moved much in the 2nd half! What was Moyes' motivational speech at half time?
